My First Large Format Experience

This series marks my first experience working with a 4×5 large format camera by Intrepid Camera, paired with a 90mm Fujinon wide lens, photographed in Safa Park, Dubai.

Spending nearly two hours to produce just four images, the process demanded patience, precision, and a different kind of presence. Each frame required intention, slowing down, observing more carefully, and committing to a single moment.

After years of shooting digitally, this was the first time I truly felt the weight of the photographic act, not just capturing an image, but constructing it.

Although this experience was, in many ways, a practice, it revealed a deeper connection to the medium, one that is both demanding and deeply rewarding.
